Please, I need some CC'ers help. If you have ever made a LV purse cake, please share your ideas, tricks, tips, advice. I have to do one in two weeks. I've studied a couple of tutorials, but have not had a chance to practice one, so I need to gather knowledge from those of you who have experienced this. Thanks.

Hi,
First I'd say figure out what shape you want the purse to be. Carve the cake to that shape, crumb coat, chill or freeze for a bit to set up. Then frost it or cover with fondant.
I found the "LV" pattern online and just transfered it onto my buttercream frosted cake by piping the letters and design. I've seen some people use food color markers to draw the design on fondant too.

Make the handles, straps, latches, etc ahead of time so they'll be firm enough to hold their shape.
I'm not sure what else you'd need to know but I hope that helps.
