Hello all! I don't ever post on here but I've been a member for a few years now and I really need some help with choosing colors for my twin daughters 14th birthday cake this coming weekend. I am make a 3 tier stacked cake, covered in fondant.

This is what we have so far.. My girls picked the colors

Bottom tier = Purple w/ checks (checkered)
Middle = Lime green with black zebra stripes
Top = Teal with dots and circles

I don't know what colors to use for the checks and dots. I was thinking black but I am afraid that would be too much black. Also do you think orange would look better for the top tier?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I was going to say that I would do the checks in white and the dots and circles in white and yellow, but after seeing the sketch posted above, I say go with the black as the accent on all the tiers!
