So i have my first wedding cake order this weekend, and i'm starting to worry, although not difficult in design, i have yet to make a 3 tier stacked square wedding cake!!!!!

Question is.....i've decided to make a 12", 10" and 6" (top tier being a dummie) do you think it's still neccessary to use the SPS system or dowel rods for the bottom 2 tiers? I'm tempted not to use supports but don't want a cake disaster for my first wedding. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Definately use the SPS system. After Leahs recommendation, I tried it and will never go to anything else! I haven't tried delivering assmebled yet (too scared to) even though it's said to be safe to do. But definately the SPS!!!
