I am making a shoebox,highheel shoe and shopping bag cake for this week.I don't have time to get gumpaste and my fondant won't dry in time.Can I make it look like tissue paper coming out of the bag with buttercream icing and the super large rose tip? Has anyone tried this?Do I just make a sweeping motion a ruffle?

Maybe you could mix some tylose powder with your fondant. I did this recently and it worked great my trees dried hard by morning. HTH!
