Teal???? How On Earth Do You Get Teal Icing?

I really want to do a teal coloured cake after seeing so many on here and Im just wondering how on earth can I get the colour I want. I have looked around but cant find a teal paste do you mix colours to make it? Please help I really want to make a teal cake its eating at me lol. This cake bug thing is rather all consuming icon_lol.gif Thankyou for any help.

Americolor sells a Teal, I've also mixed sky blue with a dab of green to make teal. HTH!

the michaels.. that i shop at.. sells teal by wilton.. beautiful color.. hth

Ooh cakemommy you are a life saver I dont think I can get americolour in the uk at least I havent seen any on my travels but I do have sky/ice blue and green I am going to have a play when I get home from work. Thankyou icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gificon_lol.gif

I've used Wilton's Teal and it gives a nice colour. Or try mixing 9 parts Sky Blue + small amount of Lemon Yellow. icon_smile.gif Happy colouring.

I have the Americolor teal, but didn't feel that it made a good one.

I use wilton's teal paste colour and its lovely.
