I have always been interested in learning how to do a pillow cake and have seen the tutorial on how to carve it but I have some other questions.

What do you use to support the pillow cakes between each tiers? Some of these almost look as if they are floating. These are some examples of what I am talking about.

Thanks in advance.

All of the tiers aren't real. Most are probably styrofoam so you can make it float, tip, flip whatever. I assume you'd support the other tiers with dowels if they are actually styrofoam since they aren't that heavy. We need a pro to come and answer this for the both of us! icon_biggrin.gif
