I made some ganache tonight for the first time and it is really too runny for making truffle centers. Can I add more chocolate to this to thicken? I already mixed the whipping cream and the chocolate together.

So...can this mixture be saved???

TIA,
Carol

have you letft it to cool? Mine normally starts thickening after an hour or so.

If it doesn't thicken add small amounts of chocolate to it.

You can always reheat the mixture and add more chocolate. How much cream and how much chocolate did you use? Did you use milk chocolate or dark chocolate?
