How do all of you put fresh flowers on your cakes? What do you use so the flowers isnt touching the cake.

Depending on design either a piece of waxpaper cut to fit flowers and design so that it isn't too terribly visible, or the Wilton flowers picks so that the flowers can be inserted in the cake, or I know some people use tea straws since they are wider. Fresh flowers are tricky on a cake, but they look soooo beautiful. I hope this helps.

I used edible flowers (pansies) on my hat cake. I bought them in the produce section of the grocery store. All major groceries in my area sell them. They are packaged in a plastic container in the section where they have packaged herbs.
