I have a recipe that uses 1 cup of LOL butter.
I have unsalted butter.
How much salt do I add?

(Wow, I don't think I've ever had a shorter starting post icon_biggrin.gif )

A lot of baking recipes call for unsalted butter. Are you sure you need salted? I wouldnt add more than 1/2tsp if it was me. But if you can do it to taste thats even better. Most of the time I leave salt out all together anyway.

The recipe doesn't specify unsalted, just says to use land of lakes butter, erat I am assuming salted.
