i'm so frustrated right now....I need to do some side scroll work for a wedding cake. i am practicing and i am having a hard time getting my royal icing to be the right consistency. what royal icing recipe do you use for scroll work???? mine is either too runny/thin or too thick. i've been using a meringue powder recipe. THANKS!!!!

I always use the Wilton recipe, but sometimes when it's really rainy out, it can be like chocolate- very difficult! You can try mixing it a little thick and letting it sit for a while, or add a very little bit of water at a time to thin it. I would definitely let it sit for a while before using it to see what it's doing. Good luck! icon_surprised.gif
