A number of my cakes are iced using my faux fondant buttercream technique.
If you would like to see them, go to www.webshots.com and search "jsarnett". Pay particular attention to a cake called "Elizabeth's Roses"....you can probably see how much the icing looks like fondant in that picture better than most of the others.
