Ok, so my family and I are trying to come up with a name for our bakery and can not come to agreement...I could surely use your help on a tie breaker. The type of cakes I want to be "known" for is not the common cake but the more 3-d cakes of actual objects. Here are the names we have come up with, let me know what you think:

1. Cake Canvas
2. Sweet Art Cakes
3. Eat Your Art
4. Just Eat it
5. ...and then there was cake

Actually, I'd drop the "sweet" and just use Art Cakes.

I was stuck between 2 and they are both the ones that were picked!

How about Cake Arts for option 2?

I would go with Sweet Art Cakes, but perhaps do a search for bakeries that are your compition in the area just to be sure there are no bakeries named Sweetheart Cakes. It would be very easy for your customers/referrals to get confused. I would hate it if one of my cakes was served at a party and when the guest asks who made it, the host says "Sweet Art cakes!" and the guest thinks "Sweetheart Cakes! I'll be sure to give them a call when I need a cake!"

boy if you don't use the last one i'd love it! lol thats a fantastic one you could also go with CAke art - hey it fits!

I would google those that may help you decide. Cake Canvas is actually and art/painting website and Sweet Art Cakes comes up a lot. Naming your business would be hard i think.

Wow...you all have such great suggestions. Thank you. Where we live, we only have one bakery and it has a spanish name so that won't be hard to mix us up. My husband LOVES Cake Canvas, I feel it is saying I am going to make a cake and decorate it but I want something that tells you I do more than decorate...I want to create a sculpture type thing.
