If I wanted to put a Wilton character cake, 1 mix size, on top of a sheet cake, would I need any support between the two, or could the sheet cake hold up the character cake?

I would probably go ahead and put some dowels into the bottom cake for piece of mind. (Especially if you're going to be travelling with it).
