I'm trying to make a pumpkin shaped cake. Can i bake the layers in ceramic bowls ? Has anyone ever done this? Does the center bake okay?

If I want a big cake, I usually just use 2 bundt pans. For a smaller one, I use metal bowls with flower nails.
Sorry, I don't have any information on ceramic ones.

I've baked in glass bowls before but haven't tried ceramic either. Does it say oven-safe on the bottom of the bowl? Otherwise it may not be, and if it cracked in the oven with raw batter in it, that would be a huge mess.

I have baked in ceramic and yes that is what you need, oven safe. Most of them are though
