Hey Everyone!!

I am stumped on this one. A friend is throwing a murder mystery party with anime characters for her daughter's sweet 16

I'd like to incorporate both themes in a cake without it looking too busy. If i can't come up with a good idea I will probably just go the anime root.

Any ideas in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.....although I am not too advanced in my skills yet so I can't really do any scuplting/carving......but I can stack cakes.

You could try searching for images from a couple of popular detective anime shows like "Detective Conan" or "Detective School Q."

Maybe do an anime version of the game Clue?

That's all I've got. ) Hopefully you can get some more ideas.

Apparently, there's also an anime version of Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Hound). You could put an image of him on top of the cake.



Then, you could decorate the border with tools of the trade: magnifying glass, thumbprints, notebook, pencil/pen, handcuffs, pepper spray, badge, gun, flashlight, gloves, etc...
