I saw this topic a few weeks ago, but can't seem to find it unfortunately...

I'm about to order fondant online for the first time (since I can't buy anything but Wilton here), and I'm just wondering what brand others prefer to work with and why. Satin Ice? Fondarific? Pettinice? Choco-Pan?

Thanks so much!
Leslie

I like Satin Ice because it's easy to work with, tastes good, and is affordable. The other three brands are pretty expensive. I also like Fondx - but it's a little bit more.

Massa hands down is the best. Only place I found to purchase is Albert Uster. Link is here: http://www.auiswisscatalogue.com/1_ENROBING/Cake+Enrobing.html

You may have to copy and paste the url.

I use Satin Ice but not impressed with the taste. Chocopan tastes great as well as Fondx. You can also try Jennifer Dontz's semi homemade fondant which is on her DVD.
