German Chocolate Cake

I am making a german chocolate cake for someone and was wondering if i could freeze the layers for a few days before I ice them. I have the day off Tues and its due on Thurs. I have frozen cakes before just not a german chocolate one. thanks so much! Lori

i do it all the time.. and those ...i bake from scratch.. hth

The only problem I've found is wanting to eat it in the meantime.
I have very little resolve with GC.

Thanks so much! I bake german chocolate from scratch too. Its just seems to take longer than unusual, But its soooooo good!
