Hi there, not sure where to put this question in the forums. Does anyone know how to make popcorn for the top of a cake. My grandson's 6th birthday and the kids are having a movie and cake day. want to make a cake in the shape of a tub of popcorn, no problem, but the popcorn has me stumped.

You can take miniature marshmallows and cut an "x" on one end and spread it out. Then take some yellow food coloring and paint the inside of the "x" to make it look like butter. Does that make sense?

I roll small balls of white and yellow fondant and score them with a knife or similar tool to make them mishapen. Works just great!
