I am making a teapot cake for a client due tomorrow. I have already baked, stacked, frosted and sculped the cake to resemble a teapot. I was about to frost the outside and cover in fondant and decorate and the client just called and said her daughter is sick and they've moved the party to next Saturday. I'm fine with this cause I can just freeze the cake until next week, but I started thinking about the vanilla frosting. Can you freeze the cake with the frosting in it?? I used about 2 sticks of butter, vanilla, a splash of milk and powdered sugar. Please advise me on what to do so I don't ruin this cake. This has never happened to me before!
Thank you!!
