i am filling some cookies with royal icing today and cant remember whether the white has to go on first to dry if i am applying red next to it, to stop bleeding of the colours ? can anyone help ? thanks !

Hi
I always let my colors set a little before I apply another color I don't wait until completly dry just set enough . I have never had a problem with them running.or bleeding
