I have recently decided to scale back my cake decorating so I can spend more time with my family. CD'ing was totally a hobby thing but I invested a lot of money into accessories. Have any of you ever gotten rid of 'cake stuff' only to regret it? Just thought I would ask....

Several people have done that. Just put them away for awhile.

I packed mine up about 20 years ago. I was glad I had them when my granddaughter celebrated her first birthday two years ago. I've been decorating ever since-and have bought lots more stuff!

I'm in the same boat. I came close to putting them on E-Bay but thought to keep them I may miss it later and want to start up again. I can't believe the money I've invested.

I always think about what it would cost to replace the stuff if I ever wanted to use it again. Since I bought so much of it with Michael's/JoAnn coupons, it would take me a long time to rebuy that stuff again at that discount. So I would just put away. Especially since you've just decided on more family time, as opposed to not enjoying it any more.
