I am making the white chocolate cake with rasp filling and white chocolate icing. The icing has milk in it there for it should be in the fridge...correct? I am putting a very large loopy bow on top of the cake. If I put it in the fridge will the bow droop? I have never make a cake that required re-fridgeration.
The buttercream that I use (Indydebi's recipe) has a little milk, but it doesn't have to go in the fridge, and neither does the Wilton recipe.
If you do put the cake in the fridge, could you add the bow when you take it out for serving?
Here is the recipe...
1/2 small package instant white chocolate pudding(about 1/4 cup)
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup shortening
4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
Add milk to get desired consistency.
Pink food paste or gel
I probably added just a few TBSP more than the 1/4 cup... I also doubled the recipe.
I can put it in the fridge but once I get it to work it will sit out
