What do I do with the crumbs left when I level the tops of my cakes. Someone said to make balls and decorate. Any Idea.

You can make lots of stuff. Cake balls are easy--just cake and frosting mixed together to form kind of a thick paste and roll and dip in chocolate. Rum balls--same, basically, but you use rum or other liqueur in place of the frosting. You can make kind of a trifle type dessert. Can be used to make sort of an extra sweet bread pudding. Chocolate ones can be used for dirt cake. Some people save them and sprinkle some between the tiers of stacked cakes to prevent the icing from sticking to the next board.

You could try a bunch of ideas from Bakerella's site. Here's a link:

Just reduce the amount of frosting to match the amount of cake bits you have. Yum!
