i bought creme bouquet flavor enhancer thinking it was regular flavoring or extract. it is a bit thicker and creamy white. anyone know how much to use instead of 1 tsp vanilla or 1 tbsp vanilla? is this really a popular flavor?
thank you!

Your creme bouquet is an emulsion (holds up better to the heat of baking).

CB is normally used as a flavor enhancer, so I would add a portion of CB in addition to your usual flavorings.

If you wish to use CB on its own, it's a matter of personal taste. I found I used more when it was the only flavoring.

As with any other flavoring, personal preference rules. For example, the WASC cake is very popular on CC, but some people just can't stand almond....

P.S. Some members thought the CK brand was too lemony, most but not all liked the MagicLine brand.
