I had a cake to do over the weekend n the fondant was awful!! It was cracking when i put it on the cake n it looked very dull n the end.Used cornstarch to keep it from sticking n a tad bit of crisco when it got too dry after kneading it. Not sure what i did wrong please help!
How much corn starch did you use?
You have to use cornstarch - but you also have to be careful how much you use because it will cause it to dry out. And you have to work super fast.
