Preferrably with pictures. I need to make a monkey themed baby shower cake and I have NO clue how to make figures

Try youtube. There are a few tutorials on how to make gumpaste figurines. Even if you don't find exactly what you are looking for, the videos do help.

I used a youtube video to help with my monkeys. It was a bear, but it really helped with form. Take a look in my pics.
