I have been asked to make a 57 Chevy cake. A 3D cake, not a sheet cake with a picture. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? Directions, patterns, advice? I have never made a 3D cake before. TIA!

To be really honest, a car is a really hard shape to start with if you've never made a 3D/carved cake before. It's really challenging.
