I've been asked to make a sheet cake for a housewarming. The hostess had a local supermarket bakery make an edible image from a photo. How do I transfer this to my cake?

find the centre of the cake a place the image on the cake (make sure there is no wrinkles because once it's on the cake you can't take it off) place it on the cake and give it a gentle swipe and then peel off the paper and it's done

Thank you! I was under the impression that I had to peel the paper off first then transfer the image onto the cake by hand. I didn't see that going very well. icon_smile.gif

You may need to lightly mist the frosting with water to get the image to 'melt' into the frosting. I haven't had good luck getting them to adhere to crusted frosting. The backing paper actually comes off very easily.
Hope this helps!
