Hello:

I hope someone can help me..I wanted to know, how do you bake a sheet pound cake when the recipe calls for a bunt or tube pan?

I've never done this..I ask because I will be making a cake this weekend and would like it to be pound cake but I'm afraid to chance the pan size and it may not turn out as it should..

I wanted to make a sheet cake but use pound cake..which pound recipe would you suggest..

any suggestions will be appreciated....thank you..

The chocolate pound cake recipe i use says to use a 12 cup bundt pan, but I have used it in sheet cakes and rounds and squares. You should be fine. I dont do anything special to the pans. All I do is spray and fill the pans.
