I am going to attempt to make a wine bottle, baked in cans to get the wine shape. The recipe I am going to use is carrot and pretty moist. Would it work to bake in cans, attach the pieces to each other with cream cheese frosting and dowel it together, then cover it in chocolate? Or will it be so moist it will fall apart? (It will be a bottle laying on it's side)
I am not willing to change the recipe I am using, but if you think it wont bake properly in cans I can change my cake design

I have heard of people baking in little cans like that...but I don't know about using a carrot cake recipe. I would think that if your carrot cake usually holds up well, that it would do so being baked like this. I think the dowel will probably hold it together.
