I am making a carrot cake with cream cheese icing but the client wants a sorta forest theme using 'slugs', leaves etc. Yeah, I think it's weird too.

Anyhow, what do I need to do for my cream cheese icing to support leaves and things 'slugs' laying on top of it? I don't want them to sink into the icing.

Any suggestions? Thanks,
Carol

They won't sink into the icing unless you have a very soft recipe that melts if it's out of the fridge (I did once, before I found CC...never did find out what was I did wrong but the point is, that was a major mishap...not normal for a cream cheese icing). I like the Crusting Cream Cheese recipe here on CC, but generally any good cream cheese icing recipe will be 100% fine to hold your deco's. thumbs_up.gif
