I'm having a babyshower for my sister and will have a lot to do (huge family) it's for this weekend, i want to ice the cakes 2 days before using Sugarshack's icing and freeze them...
2)would i just use plastic wrap and alluminum foil?
3)when i remove it from the freezer how soon do i remove the wrappings?
I have frozen leftover cake, didn't wrap it just left it in container/box and thawed it in fridge. It seemed fine.
i have iced them, boxed, foil over that and then a non sented, checmiacl free garbage bag, then freezer. ( not saying garbage is food safe; use your own judgement there.)
I thaw on counter in wrap till almost all done then take it out in cool room and let it go the rest of the way.
i have not frozen them decorated
