Do any of you have an idea on how I might go about making a ballerina sitting or standing on the top of a cake? I am assuming made out of gumpaste....step by step instructions would really be helpful as I am new to working with gumpaste and making figures. Thank you.

Gumpaste is pretty hard to work with - you have to work with it really fast and I can't work fast enough! Having said that, Debbie Brown has some great visual books. And many beginner cake decorating books also show you how to make figures and you'd probably be able to find them at your local library.

Also, there are some moulds - I think they're called Remy moulds that make all the pieces of a person and you put it all together which would be the easiest way. I bought my sister one for her birthday but we haven't had a chance to try using it yet.
