i need to make blood red buttercream frosting for a deer cake that im in the process of making right now. thanks in advance for your help.

Red airbrush color used in place of the liquid called for in your buttercream recipe works well....add more color if needed after mixing.

Not sure what you have on hand or have access to but Americolor "Super Red" will make a deep blood shade (ugh - I hate hunting) or you can use a ton of Wilton "No Taste Red"

adding just a touch of black really helps to "deepen" the red tone
