Where in KY are you? KY is regulated county by county. You should contact your county agriculture office if you are in a rural area or, health department if you are in a city.

I checked with my (Washington) county health department-and talked to someone from a neighboring county (Mercer) and you have to cook and decorate in a separate kitchen, not your home kitchen here. I think it's pretty much the same in all counties.

Yep, I was misinformed about it being different in every county! Separate kitchen and I was told even a separate septic system. Even farmer's market sellers have to have a commercial kitchen.

I'm in Boone Co. and it is definitely the same here. I am starting one in my garage, once I get my tax credit. You have to have EVERYTHING a bakery has.
