Hello everyone,

After reading all your excellent and very informative cake ideas in this forum i am wondering how do you make your fondant look silky? Do you mix anything in your fondant?I have seen some of cake pictures in here and the cake looks so beautiful and elegant ......and the fondant so smooth and silky...

I apply petal dust on my cakes and lightly steam it to give it a nice sheen. I use my clothes iron on steam to do this. Be super careful not to let it drip on your cake tho.
