How Do I Give Pastel Flowers A Masculine Looking Touch?

A friend wants me to make a birthday cake for her husband. Simple... one layer, no filling, white cake/white icing--- and PASTEL flowers! I will do it because it's what she wants (doesn't make a difference to me), but can anyone help out here with some suggestions for making this cake look not so feminine? I'm having a hard time getting my mind wrapped around combining these two things. Thanks!!

Maybe some asters in orange - that's are a little more manly.

That's certainly one good option, TNT. Thanks for the response. icon_smile.gif Anyone else have any ideas?
