I'm prety sure there are square separator plates for SPS. Look on Global Sugar Art. Or ask leahs.

it works great on square cakes. There are square separators so you can get whatever size you need. In fact, I think I've only used it on square cakes so far. Check oasissupply.com or now it looks like Global Sugar Art has them now also.
