Can anyone please tell me how many big marshmallows are in a 16 oz package? I make the fondant recipe going by the 16 oz bags and low and behold every grocery store and Walmart only have 10 oz bags now.

I wouldn't go with how many make 16 oz. Depends on who makes them. You would be safer weighing to 16 oz on a scale. I used to buy at walmart too but I have switched to BJ's. They carry very large bags of marshmallow. If you go by weight than you can use any type of marshmallow ex big, small, flavored.....without the headache of counting. hth
