We are going on a holiday to Scottsdale in October, my husband golfs, and I usually stick by the pool. Are there any good cake decorating stores?
And any good tour ideas that are a must see?
Thanks,

Hi,
There is only one cake decorating supply store in the Phoenix area. It's called ABC Cake Decorating. It's off Indian School Rd and 32nd Ave.
They have everything you can imagine and then some.

If you have a chance to take a drive, I'd highly recommend going to Sedona. It's a very beautiful, small touristy town with awesome scenery. It's probably a 1 1/2 hour drive from Phoenix.

Oh, I love Sedona~! I could live there, were it not I not afraid of the E.T.s.

And the best burger I ever ate was at some pit in Scottsdale called Greasewood Flats. I have no idea where it is. It's some little place decorated with all kinds of western memorabilia, and awesome food.

Wow....Oak Creek Canyon was such a wonderland the last time I drove down thru there. We went walking around in Sedona, but Ijust wanted to get back to Oak Creek Canyon! The smell, the sounds.....I could live in a tent by the water...really, just give me a tent. And a toothbrush. icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know when you plan on coming to AZ in October but professional decorator, Susan Carberry is coming to teach 3 classes on Sat, Oct 3rd and Sun, Oct 4th. She'll be on TLC's Ultimate Cake Challenge soon.
I posted info about it on the Events board.
