I was wondering if anyone could tell me the round tip to use for icing cupcakes. I tried a #12, but it still looks too small to me.
I depends on what effect you are trying to get. The big swirls are made with much bigger tips (1M, 2D, 172). Can you specify?
I typically use a Wilton 1A. Ateco also sells rounds and stars that work well but I am not sure of their size.
