The cupcake liners often look slightly brown after baking. The liner sticks to the cupcake and the grease from the cupcake stains the liner.

A solution is to put the cupcake and the liner down into another liner. Or some people put the cupcake down into the nut cup. There are also some grease-proof liners that are more expensive than regular liners. You'll probably have to order them on the internet.

If you want a pretty dome on your cupcake, preheat the oven to 400F. Then when the cupcakes are in the oven, turn the heat down to 350F.

If you want a flat cupcake, just bake it on the same temp that you start it at.

Fill the cupcake liner about 2/3rds full.

Good luck!

Some cupcake liners are more waxed than others. The more paper, less wax, the browner and uglier liner after baking.
