Fondant Amount

I'm making a 12 inch in one color, a 9 inch in another color and a 6 inch in a third color.

I have enough fondant for the 6 inch.
How much do I need for the other two cakes.

I have 2.2 lbs (1 kg) for the 12 inch - would this be enough?

Here are some charts but be forewarned they might confuse you further (they all state different amounts and I'm not sure if they are showing how much is needed just to cover the cakes or if it accounts for the access that you cut off).
