I have looked at wilton's serving sizes and "earlene's cake servings" that people have suggested on here. The servings are completely different. Which one have ya'll found to be more accurate?
technically, both charts are accurate, because it is assumed you will cut the cake in a manner to get the target number of servings. most people use wiltons, because they have found it to do the job, and still have spare cake left.
with earlenes, the servings are bigger, so you need to charge a higher per serving price to make the same money.
really comes down to what you want to do, and what your client base expects - which you get to educate them about!
