I want to venture out and try fondant but I don't
really know where to start. I took cake classes when I was 7 a a college during the summer, and know at 35 I'm still learning and enjoying decorating cakes.

However, now the community has seen and tasted some of my cakes and I have started getting calls to make more and more.
Fondant looks like it would be fun so I want to give it a try...

What recipe should I start with and any pointes would be greatly appreciated.

I would love love to try for my daughter's 15th birthday cake... Party is Sunday!!!

Marshmellow Fondant or Michelle Foster's Fondant. You need to make it right away so it has time to rest as per the recipe. I love Michelle's!

Is your caps lock stuck?

No sorry I'm at work and we use all caps...didn't mean to shout at everyone. Thanks for the reply. I havent even had the chance to bake the cake yet...with the first week of school, meetings and football games, and events that go along with, I'm a little behind schedule! Thanks again

Oh boy so then you'll be up all night. I wouldn't be able to get it all done in one night.
