I have made mmf several times, but always get icing sugar lumps in the fondant when I roll it out,,, not smooth. WHAT am I doing wrong
Are you sifting your sugar? The one time I didn't, I got some serious lumps.

Are you using a high quality sugar, like C&H brand?
That exact thing happened to me when I used a cheap generic brand.
I am using redpath (canadian) quality brand, not bulk
