How do i carve a cake so that it angles down? Square cake bigger on the top smaller at the base. How do you get the angle and how do you make sure it is the same on all four sides? TIA!
You could turn it upside down and use a smaller square template on top and then use that as your guide to carve in the angle. Then flip it back over and you've got your tapered cake!
