I got a call today about doing a cake for a Pink Slip Party. All of these people are "contract" and their contract is up at the end of September and want to Celebrate. Any ideas on how I can make it fun?

Maybe a chorus line of dancers (a la the Rockettes) with pink slips under their dresses? Maybe a bit too much of a play on words, but it was my first thought!

.....and riffing off that idea, how about Betty Boop, bending over so her pink slip shows, hand to mouth as if embarassed. Writing on cake "Pardon me your slip is showing"

What about a pink ship half sticking out of an envelope? The envelope could say payroll or something like that on it??? Just a thought.

I also had lingere on my mind. I thought of one of those "dress" cakes; but make it look like a slip (pink of course).
