I have and do make truffles for people. I'm stumped as to what flavors to offer? Any suggestions from you all would be great. Also, how would I do a keylime truffle? Anyone?
Instead of frosting for my binder I use coffee creamers. The flavors that I've done are these, Please add to this for me! icon_lol.gifthumbs_up.gif

Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti- chocolate cake with hazelnut biscotti creamer
Caramel Vanilla-white cake with vanilla caramel creamer
French Vanilla- white cake with french vanilla creamer
Lemon Cream-lemon cake with regular creamer, same for strawberry cream

And any suggestions for keylime....Thanks!!

add Lorann Oil to regular BC and you can add about 30+ flavors that will go good with choc. They have an awesome keylime oil.

I like chocolate cake with Irish Cream creamer and dipped in candy melts, followed by a roll in crushed peppermints.

For keylime truffles I would do a key lime cake (with either flavored oil, lime juice in the cake mix, or a lime cake mix itself) then mix with a meringue buttercream, and dip in white chocolate. But that's just me icon_smile.gif

I've mixed custards and different types of frostings. Try strawberry preserves or other fruit preserves, condensed milk, cheesecakes, two different cakes or even 5, try adding some shaved chocolate, cookies and the possibilities are endless.
