Hi there,

I'm about to use the diamond impression mat on buttercream for the first time and would like any tips on doing this. Also, how do you get that stitched look? Is there a tool for this? icon_smile.gif

Thanks,
Teresa

I take the impression mat and start impressing to the crusted buttercream. Once I made the first impression I take the mat and line it up on top of a row of existing then impress, repeating this until the end. You may not end up exactly the same at the end. You could stop short then take a skewer or pick and finish off.

There is a stitching tool. Or use a tracing tool from the fabric department.
